Day 1 of Intermittent Fasting begins!
That’s right. It’s been just over a year since I stopped my 3 months of Intermittent Fasting and went to eating 6 or so meals a day. I would like to say small meals but sometimes I’ve been smashing a bit more than I should.
Back to reality!
This morning I woke up, had a glass of water and jumped on my FitBit scales weighing in at: 74.3kg. The body fat was at 18.1% which is way off as my DEXA scan from 3 weeks before put me at an average of 11.1%, 0.4% from my 11.5% recorded in January the start of this year.
Today I’ve got the following food to consume when the clock strikes 12PM:
- Greek salad with smoked salmon
- 2 boiled eggs
- 1 banana
- A handful of nuts
- 2 dried figs
- About 8 dried prunes for my boron intake
That should keep me going through until 6PM. Then I think tuna and salad for dinner. No exercise tonight as I’ve done 3 days straight already.
Dinner was:
- About a 300g tuna steak
- Greek salad (tomato, capsicum, red onion, feta, olive oil and oregano)
- 2 more dried figs
- Cup of tea with soy milk
- Nespresso coffee wiht soy milk
Feeling ok. Tomorrow will be another day. Looking forward to getting through the first couple weeks while I wait for the real energy boost to start kicking in around week 4.
